This daylong seminar is designed to walk participants through the world of social media, starting with basic understanding of what platforms are available, how to determine where an organization or cause should communicate (you don’t need to join each of the hundreds of social media platforms available to be effective), developing a strategy to use social media as part of your overarching marketing and communications efforts and how to track your efforts to see if they are working. This course is designed for beginnings and can be offered online in a webinar format. It includes breakout sessions with one-on-one assistance with course participants. Participants will be asked to fill out a questionnaire before the seminar so the presenter can research each organization represented.
